Your plan defines how many listings you may create and whether you can use extra features such as quote requests or certain listing types. A central check decides in the background whether your plan allows a given action.

If the check fails, the action is blocked and you see a hint about the required upgrade. This check runs server-side, so it cannot be bypassed through the interface.
