Yes. On the registration page click Choose Wallet & Register, pick your wallet in the picker (for example MetaMask) and confirm the signature request in your wallet extension. No transaction is executed and no gas fee applies, the signature only proves your identity.

Panterzone then automatically creates an account for your wallet address. No password is required, you can still set one later.
