After submitting you see the confirmation Your inquiry has been sent. The offering party will contact you. Your inquiry sits at the vendor as Pending.

The vendor can confirm it (the contact is unlocked; for expose requests the expose email is sent automatically, for appointments the confirmation) or decline it (you are notified by email). While an inquiry is open, you cannot submit a second one for the same listing with the same email. Just wait for the response.
