Both numbers are correct, they simply count different things.
The two figures above the table count all reported incidents on that chain. The table below shows the last twenty. On a chain with hundreds of incidents the total is therefore many times larger than anything you can add up.
The link below the table opens the full list, already filtered to that chain.
A second point appears below the figures: for some incidents no amount was reported at all. The total is therefore a lower bound, not a final figure. A dash in the loss column means "no amount reported", not "no damage".
