The product form has its own product safety section. There you enter:

• Manufacturer: name or registered trademark, postal address and email address.
• Type, batch or model reference, so the product can be identified unambiguously.
• Warnings and safety information in German.
• The responsible person in the EU with name, postal address and email, where the manufacturer is based outside the EU.

Which of these are mandatory for you depends on your legal form. If no legal form is on file, the strictest level applies until you add it.

If a product becomes a safety case, the marketplace drafts a recall notice with fixed mandatory elements and notifies the affected buyers.
